Production Operative / Recycling Operatives
4 on / 4 off Shift Pattern (Days & Nights Rotation)
Shift Times: 5:45am - 6:00pm / 5:45pm - 6:00am rotating shift pattern Pay Rate: £14.89 per hour
FLT /Forklift Counterbalance is required.

The Role
We are looking for a proactive and reliable Production Operative to support our Recycling Operations team. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, where safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement are key.
You will support all areas of the recycling process, including:
Loading and unloading materials
Machine operation and support
Quality sampling
General housekeeping duties
Assisting the Production Team Leader with operational updates and process improvements
Key Responsibilities
Operate production and recycling equipment safely and efficiently
Follow all SOPs, site procedures, and health & safety guidelines
Carry out pre-start visual safety inspections on machinery and equipment
Monitor machinery performance to maintain optimal operating conditions
Support continuous improvement activities across the shift
Accurately identify, weigh, and record waste and regrind materials
Ensure correct disposal and segregation of waste streams
Maintain high housekeeping standards across the production area
Complete production documentation and bulk bag labelling accurately
Work flexibly across multiple production roles as required
Essential
Valid FLT / Forklift Counterbalance Licence
Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment
Ability to work across multiple operational areas
