We are looking for an organised and customer-focused Administrator to join the Digital Technology Service (DTS) team at Sheffield Hallam University.
This role involves providing proactive administrative support across a range of digital and operational services, ensuring an excellent experience for staff, students, visitors, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Responding to enquiries via phone, email, and face to face
Supporting meetings, events, and diary management
Maintaining records, reports, and administrative systems
Assisting with procurement, invoicing, and budget tracking
Supporting mobile phone and IT kit deployment
Providing professional customer service and administrative support across the department
The ideal candidate will:
Have strong administration and organisational skills
Be confident communicating with a wide range of people
Be able to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
Have good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Be reliable, proactive, and team-oriented
This is a temporary role initially; however, there may be a permanent opportunity available in the future, although this cannot be guaranteed.
Due to the location of the role, applicants must be able to reliably travel to Sheffield city centre campus.
