Production Operative
Location: Lower Oakham Way, Mansfield, NG18 5BY
Hours: Monday to Friday, weekly rotating shifts
6:00am-2:00pm and 2:00pm-10:00pm
Contract: Temporary ongoing
Pay: £12.90 per hour
Start Date: Immediate
Are you reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced warehouse environment? We're looking for a Production Operative to join our busy team in Mansfield, where quality, efficiency and teamwork are key to success.
In this hands‑on role, you'll support machine operators with the processing of mail, carry out quality checks, and help prepare items for dispatch. If you enjoy practical work, can stay focused in a repetitive environment, and take pride in maintaining high standards, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
What You'll Be Doing
Assisting machine operators with the smooth running of production machinery
Loading letters and materials onto machines accurately and efficiently
Carrying out quality checks on processed mail
Preparing completed items for dispatch
Operating and supporting various finishing equipment such as Neopost mailing machines, pressure sealers, folding machines, booklet makers and enclosers
Maintaining machinery and work areas to high housekeeping standards
Completing consumables stock checks as required
Ensuring all product quality standards are consistently met
Following all operational procedures and process standards
Undertaking manual handling and repetitive tasks throughout the shiftThis role is ideal for someone who is comfortable with physical work and enjoys a structured, process‑driven environment.
