Customer Service Advisor (Ongoing)
Location: Swadlincote / Church Gresley
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (1 hour unpaid break)
We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Customer Service Advisor to join a busy and fast-paced Collections Team based in Church Gresley. This is an ongoing temporary opportunity ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a professional telephone manner, and a positive, proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Responding to customer enquiries via telephone and email in a professional and timely manner
Resolving customer issues and complaints efficiently and effectively
Acting as the main point of contact for external hauliers experiencing collection issues on customer sites
Handling challenging situations confidently while ensuring excellent customer service
Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, resolutions, escalations, and process updates
Providing accurate information regarding company services, policies, and procedures
Gathering customer feedback to support service improvement
Working closely with colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth resolution of issuesRequirements:
Previous customer service experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Confident and professional telephone manner
Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
5 GCSEs grade A–C preferredPersonal Attributes:
