A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Building Control Administrator to join a well-established and growing Building Control organisation working on a range of prestigious Government and specialist projects across the UK.
This position would suit either an experienced Building Control Administrator or an organised construction/property professional looking to progress into the Building Control sector with full training provided.
The successful candidate will play a key role supporting Building Control Surveyors and senior management with the day-to-day administration and coordination of projects. Due to the nature of the work, this is an excellent long-term career opportunity within a highly specialised environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Providing administrative support to the Building Control team
• Managing project documentation and compliance records
• Assisting with booking inspections and coordinating diaries
• Liaising with clients, contractors and internal teams
• Maintaining accurate databases and reporting systems
• Supporting document control and Government compliance procedures
• Assisting with vetting and onboarding administration where required
Requirements:
• Previous administration experience within Building Control, construction, property or a technical environment would be advantageous
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Confident using Microsoft Office systems
• Professional and proactive approach to work
• Ability to work within a confidential and regulated environment
