The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Stores & Inventory Operative to join a fast-paced logistics and manufacturing operation based in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to become part of a well-structured team supporting production and operational activities.
You will play a key role in ensuring materials and components are received, stored, controlled, and issued accurately and efficiently to support day-to-day production requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Receive, book in, and process goods within agreed timeframes using Sage 200

Pick and issue materials and components against production and work order requirements

Maintain accurate stock control using FIFO principles

Ensure correct storage, traceability, and batch/serial number control

Carry out cycle counts and stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy

Support internal logistics activities, including movement of goods between sites

Assist with goods inward and outward processes

Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety, including COSHH compliance

Work collaboratively with production, logistics, and purchasing teams to support operational efficiency
What We’re Looking For

Previous experience within a stores, warehouse, inventory, or logistics environment

Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

Experience using ERP or stock management systems, ideally Sage 200
-
Good understanding of stock control processes including FIFO and batch/serial tracking
-
Reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team

Good organisational and communication skills

Forklift licence advantageous but not essential
