PE Global are recruiting a Material Handler for our pharma client based in Runcorn. The role is an initial 3-month contract with potential for extension.
Annual Salary: £23,810 Shift allowance is 40%.
Days and nights shift (12 hours).
The purpose of this multi-functional role is to operate within the main warehouse. The Logistic Operator will process and coordinate deliveries; ensure production needs are met throughout BFS (Blow Fill Seal) and PFS (Pre-filled syringe) by picking /replenishing components and product in a timely manner and plan/prepare goods inwards/outward movements to meet operational and customer needs and regulatory requirements. Contribute to the efficient running of the warehouse conveyor system, clearing any basic blockages and recording discrepancies using the relevant ADR’s and log books
Responsibilities:
• Using the Departmental Training Matrix, manage your own training and development making sure all training is up date and that you are compliant in all standard operating procedures and training assessment records relevant to your roll and the training evidence is present within your personal training folder.
• Monitor the Site Training Schedule and actively enrol onto any relevant training programmes required to progress your development.
• Manage waste streams effectively, liaising with waste vendors where required to arrange services.
• Perform SAP transactions and physical movements of stock accurately and in a timely manner pro-actively investigating any stock discrepancies.
• Perform cycle counting, to measure stock accuracy.
• Pick, replenish, load and store components/product to facilitate the production plan in BFS/PFS.
• Maintain housekeeping compliance in all warehouse areas, according to cGMP and regulatory requirements, attending weekly warehouse walks and raising any concerns to their team leader.
• Process all deliveries within timely manner in accordance with company processes. Perform a suitable handover with oncoming shift.
• Ensure documentation is completed in real-time and filed accordingly to meet compliance requirements.
• Ensure any problems or issues are communicated effectively and corrective actions are robust to ensure requirements are met.
• Assist with accurate keeping of stock and their records.
• Ensure logbooks are completed fully in real-time to clearly document any issues or breakdown/repair completed within warehouse.
• Where applicable provide detailed information regarding any issues in the warehouse to enable the Logistic Specialist/ Logistic team leader to complete QIR or CAPA with full details to enable the Logistic team leader to make the correct assessment of risk for the finished packed batch.
• Raise, implement and support CIs to improve processes and promote process improvements across all pillars.
Requirements:
• Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment (although not essential).
• FLT license is essential.
• Ideally competent in SAP processing.
• Experience working in a regulated industry desirable (i.e. Pharma, Food, Aerospace).
• Communicator/motivator/team player.
• Able to deliver high performance standards.
• High Attention to detail required.
• General computer skills, Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
