Hays are recruiting for a temporary HR administrator for approximately 6 months based in Macclesfield with an immediate start.
Your new role
Support the HR team with day‑to‑day administration
Process employee leavers, including preparing documentation and updating HR systems
Issue employment references in line with company policy
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date employee records and files
Respond to routine HR queries and provide general administrative support
Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within HR or a compliance‑led environment
Be immediately available for work
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
The ability to manage confidential and sensitive information appropriately
Confidence working to processes, procedures and deadlines
Good written and verbal communication skills
Competence using Microsoft Office and internal systems
