The Role
As an Assistant Town Planner, you'll be working closely with experienced planning professionals on a diverse portfolio of projects across sectors including residential, commercial, retail, and mixed-use developments. You'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of planning applications, appeals, and site appraisals.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting in the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals
Conducting site appraisals and planning research
Supporting senior team members with project delivery
Liaising with local authorities, clients, and stakeholders
Contributing to planning strategy and development proposalsAbout You:
Degree (and ideally MSc) in Town Planning or a related discipline
Working towards (or keen to work towards) MRTPI accreditation
Some relevant planning experience (public or private sector)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
