Are you looking for your next challenge, well look no further. Our longstanding client the Shropshire Council is currently recruiting for a Passenger Assistant.
Candidates must have SEN experience and the willingness to ensure the student's needs are met during their journey to and from school.
Duties:

Ensuring the students have a safe journey to and from school

Correctly handling wheelchairs to ensure they are secure

Communicating with the driver

Communicating with parents at drop-off and pickup

Position does not include driving

Must drive due to the location of the depot

0 hour contract
You will be given full wheelchair training, driver assessment and route training. Should you be a suitable candidate a full enhanced DBS will be undertaken.
