Cordomus is a Wimbledon-based refurbishment company now specialising in high-quality bathroom renovations across London and Surrey.
We are looking for a reliable Bathroom Finishing Operative / Multi-Trade Assistant to support our bathroom installation teams.
This role is suited to someone practical, tidy and reliable who can help with preparation, protection, making good, decorating, general site support, cleaning, snagging and finishing.
The Role
The Bathroom Finishing Operative / Multi-Trade Assistant will support the Lead Bathroom Installer and Bathroom Installer during bathroom renovation projects.
You will help keep the site organised, assist with practical tasks and support the final stages of the project where attention to detail is important.
This is a good role for someone with construction, refurbishment, maintenance, decorating, plastering, carpentry or general building experience who wants regular work as part of a professional bathroom renovation team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with site protection before works begin.
Help with bathroom strip-out and waste handling.
Move materials, tools and equipment safely.
Keep the work area clean, tidy and organised.
Assist with preparation works.
Support plasterboarding, backer board installation and making good.
Carry out minor filling, sanding and decorating where competent.
Assist with fitting accessories, mirrors, cabinets and finishing items.
Support silicone preparation and final cleaning.
Help with general building and refurbishment tasks.
Assist the Lead Installer and Bathroom Installer as required.
Help take progress photos and report issues.
Assist with final snagging and handover preparation.
Work respectfully in occupied homes.
Skills and Experience Required
Experience in construction, refurbishment, bathrooms, maintenance or decorating.
Good practical ability.
Willingness to work across different tasks.
Clean and tidy working habits.
Reliable and punctual.
Good attitude and willingness to learn.
Respectful in clients’ homes.
Able to follow instructions.
Able to work well as part of a small team.
