The Role
Leading global provider of warehouse management solutions requires a new Trainee Sales Executive to help run their most lucrative patch in the East of England. This unique opportunity gives you the benefit of managing a number of their key accounts but also allows you the flexibility to seek out new business in the area and take long term ownership of these new accounts. You will shadow the current Area Sales Manager for the region after receiving 3 months of advanced industry and sales training.
Experience Required
You will already be a successful sales person selling business to business (B2B) that has a background of consultatively selling some form of product solution, and it will be an advantage if this is into warehousing or an industrial environment. For example, current top performers come from a varied field sales background covering warehouse automation, vehicle tracking, factory automation, industrial racking, commerical, vehicle fleets, trucks, materials handling, forklifts, RFID, workwear, safety equipment, automation, office equipment and warehouse management software. It will be ideal if you have a proven background of selling into warehousing and industrial environments e.g. logistics, manufacturing, storage, industrial, import, export and supply chain solutions providers. Furthermore, you will be a consultative sales person that does not sell on price, build rapport and establishes long term relationships.

They offer a full turn key suite of engineering and technology solutions aimed at increasing the ROI on new warehousing operations and increasing the efficiency of existing warehousing. Their Trainee Sales Executives receive 3 months industry leading sales training on products but also selling techniques.
The Package
Initial indications by the client are a base salary of between £30,000 - £34,000 basic and an achievable uncapped OTE £60,000. The package also includes a company car, mobile phone, laptop, private health care and pension. Furthermore, you will be on a career progression program where after year 1-2 you will be promoted to Area Sales Manager where your base salary goes up to £40k (subject to your performance) and realistic achievable OTE £60,000 - £100,000.
