Job Description - QA Operative
Location: HU9
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Pay Frequency: Paid weekly, every Friday
Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail‑focused QA Operative to join the team. This role plays a key part in ensuring products meet the company's quality, hygiene, and safety standards. You'll work closely with production teams to maintain compliance and support continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out daily quality checks throughout production.
Monitor and record product specifications, temperatures, and weights.
Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Support and enforce site food safety, hygiene, and GMP standards.
Report any non‑conformances immediately and assist with corrective actions.
Work closely with production and management teams to maintain quality consistency.
Ensure all products meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements
Previous QA experience is essential.
Must be comfortable working in a food manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
Good communication skills and confidence to raise quality concerns.
Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and GMP standards is desirable.
Ability to work reliably in a fast‑paced production setting.
