Job Title: Semi-Skilled Caravan Operative (First & Second Fix Electrics)

Pay Rate: £14.44 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM - 5:45 PM
Job Description
We are currently recruiting a Semi-Skilled Caravan Operative to join a busy and well-established caravan manufacturing site in East Hull. This role involves carrying out first and second fix electrical work within caravans as part of the production process. The position is hands-on and suited to someone with previous electrical installation experience, ideally within the caravan or modular manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out first fix electrical work, including installing cables and wiring routes
Completing second fix electrics, such as fitting sockets, switches, lighting, and appliances
Reading and working from basic electrical drawings and specifications
Ensuring all electrical work meets quality and safety standards
Working collaboratively with other departments to meet production targets
Identifying and reporting faults or issues where necessary
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work area
Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
Previous experience carrying out first and second fix electrics is essential
Ideally has experience working within the caravan, modular, or manufacturing industry
Good understanding of electrical components and installation methods
Ability to use hand and power tools confidently
