We are currently recruiting for a skilled Assembly Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing team in Huddersfield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in sheet metal assembly who is looking for stable work and long-term prospects
Key Responsibilities:
Assembling sheet metal components using hand and power tools
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions
Ensuring all products meet quality standards and specifications
Performing basic fabrication tasks where required
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Working efficiently to meet production targets
Requirements:
Previous experience in sheet metal assembly is essential
Ability to read technical drawings
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable working with various tools and machinery
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
