Job Title: Assembly Operator
Location: Newport, Isle of Wight
Pay: £12.71 per hour
About the Role
Our client in Newport is looking for a reliable and detail-focused Assembly Operator to join their production team. This role is key to supporting the manufacturing process, ensuring products are assembled accurately and meet high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assembling products and components in line with work instructions
Picking, kitting, and preparing materials for production
Following basic technical diagrams or instructions where required
Carrying out quality checks to ensure consistency and standards are met
Handling small components with care and precision
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace
Supporting stock control and inventory accuracy
Working collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet targets
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse environments is beneficial but not essential
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Strong manual dexterity and ability to work with small parts
Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Basic IT skills are an advantage
