They are seeking an experienced Apprenticeship Skills Coach – IT Support Technician (Level 3) to support learners throughout their apprenticeship journey.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assessor who is passionate about learner development and is looking for a flexible, remote role with strong progression opportunities.
The role:
Manage and support a caseload of apprentices studying the IT Support Technician Level 3 standard
Conduct regular progress reviews, coaching sessions, and one‑to‑one mentoring to support learner development
Assess learner knowledge, skills, and behaviours (KSBs) in line with the apprenticeship standard
Support learners with portfolio development, assignments, and exam preparation to ensure readiness for End Point Assessment (EPA)
Maintain accurate and timely learner records using an e‑portfolio system
Liaise with employers to monitor learner progress and ensure apprenticeship requirements are met
Provide guidance to help learners overcome challenges during their apprenticeship
Contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and assessment practice within the teamAbout you:
Assessor qualification (CAVA, TAQA, or equivalent) – essential
Level 3 Teaching Award (or willingness to work towards) – desirable
Level 3 or above qualification in a relevant IT subject – essential
Previous experience assessing IT apprenticeships, ideally IT Support Technician, with knowledge of networking
Confident managing a remote caseload and building strong relationships with learners and employers
