We’re partnering with a fast-expanding accountancy practice with a strong presence across the Midlands and they’re looking for a confident, detail-driven Payroll Bureau Assistant to join their friendly and collaborative team.

What you’ll be doing:
You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, timely payroll services across a diverse client base:

Managing weekly, fortnightly & monthly payrolls end-to-end

Working daily with BrightPay & BrightPay Connect

Handling auto-enrolment & workplace pensions
-
Submitting RTI returns, P45s, P60s & P11Ds

Keeping payroll records accurate, compliant, and audit-ready

Acting as a trusted point of contact for clients via phone & email

Staying ahead of ever-changing payroll & tax legislation

Ensuring deadlines are met efficiently and accurately.

Proven experience in a payroll bureau or accountancy practice (essential)

Strong working knowledge of BrightPay & BrightPay Connect (essential)

Solid understanding of payroll legislation & compliance

Experience with pensions & auto-enrolment

Highly organised with excellent time management

Confident communicator with a client-first mindset

A sharp eye for detail and accuracy
