Empowering Learning are recruiting SEND Support Assistants to work across a number of schools in the Wirral, supporting pupils with additional needs and behavioural challenges. This is a rewarding role where your ability to engage, motivate and build trust will have a direct impact on young people's development.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering targeted support on a 1:1 basis or within small groups
Supporting pupils with SEMH, autism and ADHD
Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils stay on task
Using active and practical approaches to support learning
Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to implement support plans
