Job Title: Attendance Administrator
Location: Wirral
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Temporary (Until July 2026), Term Time Only, Tuesday to Friday
Are you organised, detail-oriented, and confident working with data and systems? We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Attendance Administrator to join a welcoming secondary school on the Wirral. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting student attendance and safeguarding processes within a busy school environment.
The Role:
Maintain and update daily attendance records accurately
Monitor attendance patterns, including absences, lateness, and early departures
Follow up on unexplained absences and ensure appropriate documentation is received
Support the school in identifying attendance trends and concerns
Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies where required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
Experience using Arbor
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Confidence using computer systems and attendance software
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify patterns in data
Full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle
Working Hours:
Tuesday to Friday
8:00am - 4:00pm (30-minute unpaid lunch)
