West Bank, Widnes | £12.71 per hour (increasing after probation) | Monday to Friday, 7am - 3:30pm | Temp to Perm
Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Goods Out / Production Operative to join a food manufacturing business specialising in dry cured and tank cured bacon and gammon. Supplying wholesalers and butchers across the UK, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team with full training and long-term prospects.
Key Responsibilities
During Training (approx. 12 weeks):
Operate production machinery.
Pack and label products.
Follow strict food hygiene regulations.
Work as part of a team to meet dispatch deadlines.
Carry out clean-down and hygiene duties.
Perform quality checks on products.After Training:
Load delivery vehicles.
Complete dispatch documentation.
Store stock safely and efficiently.
Move raw materials into production areas.
Continue quality checks and hygiene duties.
Requirements
Manual handling experience.
Good understanding of health and safety practices.
Strong communication skills.
Hands-on, proactive approach.
Previous production experience, ideally within food manufacturing.
Food hygiene awareness.
RTITB or ITSSAR Counterbalance FLT licence (refreshed within the last 3 years).
Previous FLT experience.
