About the Role
We are currently seeking a caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Assistant to join a range of welcoming early years settings in Basildon. This role is offered through a trusted education recruitment agency and provides an excellent opportunity to support young children during their crucial early stages of development.
You will play an important role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, play, and thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Support the planning and delivery of engaging early years activities in line with the EYFS framework
Promote children’s learning, development, and wellbeing through play-based learning
Ensure a safe, secure, and inclusive environment for all children
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Assist with daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and outdoor play
Observe, monitor, and record children’s progress
Requirements
Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
