Finance Assistant (Purchase Ledger)
Location: Southwark
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm
We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant (Purchase Ledger) to join a busy and supportive finance team based near London Bridge. This is a great opportunity for someone with existing purchase ledger experience who is looking to develop their career within a structured and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities

Processing and loading supplier invoices onto the accounting system

Circulating invoices internally for approval

Supporting monthly payment runs

Updating and maintaining the cashbook

Liaising with suppliers and resolving invoice queries

Handling general finance-related enquiries
-
Preparing commission statements
-
Raising and loading sales invoices
-
Supporting credit control and debt collection activities
-
Assisting with sales statement processes
Requirements
-
Previous Purchase Ledger experience essential

Experience using Sage preferred
-
AAT Level 3 or equivalent desirable
-
Strong communication skills and confidence working across teams

Organised with good time management skills

Positive, proactive approach with a collaborative attitude
