Hours: Part time – 21.75 hours per week (days to be agreed on appointment, but one of the days must be a Friday)
Salary: £15,211.95 per annum (FTE £26,227.50)

Location: Based at The Gateway, 8 – 10 Durrington Lane, Worthing, West Sussex, BN13 2QG – with some flexibility to work from other offices and/or work from home.
Holiday Entitlement: 25 days per year rising to 27 days after 2 years (pro-rata)

Overview
We are looking for a People & Governance Administrator to join us in a highly varied role, to work alongside our current administrator.
You will play a pivotal part in supporting our People function in key processes spanning the full employee life cycle from prospective employees to leavers in a busy and people-focused environment. In this role you will also be supporting the work of our Board of Trustees and related committees.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting recruitment processes including advertising roles on job boards, coordinating interviews and onboarding new staff, including processing Right to Work checks.
- Creating and preparing letters based on templates relating to recruitment, selection and appointment.
- Monitoring our team inboxes and responding to basic enquiries, escalating where required to the relevant person.
- Maintaining accurate employee records in line with GDPR and confidentiality requirements.
- Supporting with people projects that promote staff wellbeing and inclusion, such as organising employee events.
- Supporting with governance, including typing up minutes from our bi-monthly sub-committee and Board meetings and the organising of our AGM.

The successful candidate will:
- Have experience of working in administration or a similar role.
- Be confident in a busy and varied role, often working with changing priorities.

- Have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with care and discretion.
