Recycling Operative - Stafford
The Best Connection is looking for hardworking and reliable Recycling Operatives to join our client in Stafford on a long-term, full-time basis. This is a physically active role in a recycling environment with the opportunity for training and a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Baling and recycling card and plastic
Manually sort and segregate waste types into various streams for recycling
Ensure the working area complies with Health and Safety laws
Sort and process recyclable materials on a picking line or in designated bays.
Remove non-conforming or unsuitable items from materials to maintain quality.
Assist with loading and unloading materials as required.
Maintain a clean, tidy and safe work area, including general house-keeping duties.
Follow all site health and safety procedures and instructions from supervisors.
Pay Rates:
£14.30p/h Nights
£13.32p/h Days
Shift Schedule:
18:00 - 06:00 or 06:00 - 18:00
Shift Pattern; 2 on 2, off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off
Requirements
Able to work flexible day shifts.
Good physical fitness for manual work, lifting and standing for long periods.
Reliable team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
Previous experience in recycling, waste, warehouse or production is an advantage but not essential
FLT Licence is an advantage but not essential
