Role: Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Bedford
Hours: Sunday - Thursday (18:30 - 03:00), 40 hours
Salary: £15.86 an hour, weekly pay
Temporary with the opportunity to go permanent
OA are currently looking to recruit for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a well established client based in Bedford.
You will oversee the evening picking operation within the warehouse, reporting directly into the Shift Manager, maintaining productivity standards and leading a team of 24 operatives.
Duties of a Warehouse Supervisor:
Lead, coach and motivate a team of Warehouse Operatives to deliver high performance
Oversee daily picking operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and quality standards are met
Monitor workflow and resource levels to meet operational demands and KPIs
Ensure full compliance with health & safety, company policies and regulatory requirements
Drive continuous improvement through training, performance management and process optimisation
What we would like from you:
Previous Warehouse Supervisory experience, with a proven ability to lead and motivate teams
Experience working within a warehouse distribution centre environment
Demonstrated experience managing large teams of operatives in a fast-paced setting
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, WMS systems, and order picking processes
Proactive, hands-on leadership style with strong organisational, communication, and safety focus
