We are seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join the organisation, based in the Bradford area. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a salary of up to £35,000 depending on experience.
The Role
This is a varied and engaging position, ideal for someone who enjoys relationship management and wants to continue developing their technical expertise. You’ll manage a small portfolio of clients while supporting wider team activity.
Key responsibilities include:

Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments (MTAs), and new business enquiries

Negotiating with insurers and clients to secure the best outcomes

Issuing accurate and compliant documentation

Assisting with claims handling

Supporting Account Executives across a broad commercial portfolio

Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships
This role would suit someone already established as a Commercial Account Handler, or someone ready to step up and take ownership of their own book of business.
About You

Experience within commercial insurance

Acturis experience preferred

Cert CII qualified (or keen to work towards it)

Strong customer service and relationship-building skills

Proven track record in client retention

Professional, proactive, and detail-oriented approach

Good understanding of FCA and DPA regulations

Excellent communication skills
