Are you an organised and proactive ESH professional looking for your next challenge? We are supporting a global leader in defence, engineering and advanced technology in the search for an Environmental Safety & Health Assistant to join their team in Havant.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in driving workplace safety, environmental compliance and continuous improvement across multiple UK sites.
In this position, you will:

Provide ESH guidance and support to managers and employees

Support ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems

Maintain ESH records, policies, procedures and risk registers

Assist with workplace hazard identification, risk assessments and compliance actions

Coordinate PPE, first aiders, fire wardens and training records

Support incident investigations and Net Zero initiatives

Prepare for internal and external audits and help drive improvements

Work closely with site representatives across the UK to share best practice
We are looking for someone who has:

NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification

At least 2 years’ experience in an ESH-focused role

Good knowledge of ESH legislation and compliance requirements

Excellent communication, organisation and administration skills
-
Strong Microsoft Office skills

The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the UK
