Systems & Network Administrator
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems & Network Administrator to join our growing IT team. This role requires a well-rounded professional with strong technical expertise across systems administration, networking, and cloud technologies, combined with a proactive leadership mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Linux and Windows server environments
- Design, implement, and support secure network infrastructures
- Configure and manage firewalls and VPN solutions
- Support cloud-based platforms and hybrid environments
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and ensure system reliability and performance
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical strategy
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux and Windows administration whilst working as Systems & Network Administrator.
- Proven expertise in networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching)
- Advanced knowledge of firewall configuration and VPN technologies
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Solid understanding of security best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to take ownership
Desirable:
- Certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Microsoft, Cisco, AWS)
- Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
