This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role working across various departments on site. You'll play a key part in supporting the recycling operation and ensuring materials are processed safely and efficiently.
Previous experience in a similar working environment would be advantageous...
Roles and responsibilities:
Working on the sorting belt to separate recyclable materials
Carrying out general cleaning duties, including cleaning down machinery and work areas
Assisting with the basic maintenance and upkeep of machinery (e.g., clearing blockages, reporting faults)
Supporting different departments as required depending on workload
Following all health & safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Ensuring materials are handled and processed correctly
Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets
What We're Looking For:
Someone health & safety conscious with good awareness of site rules
A reliable team player with a strong work ethic
Comfortable with manual handling and working on your feet
Ability to work in a fast‑moving environment
Previous recycling or warehouse experience is helpful but not essentialShifts / pay rates :
Monday to Friday: £13.17 per hour
Saturday: £19.75 per hour
