Description
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for the Purchase Ledger department.
Manage the Purchase Ledger inbox and allocate accordingly.
Support with processing supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist in the preparation of payment runs and ensure compliance with company policies.
Respond to supplier queries and resolve discrepancies effectively.
Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
Support the month-end closing process by providing necessary documentation.
Contribute to process improvements within the accounts payable function.Profile
A successful Purchase Ledger Assistant should have:
Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Understanding of Purchase Ledger.
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders over the phone.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Willingness to learn and develop.
Able to commute to our client's offices 3 days per week.Job Offer
