Location: Chesterfield
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00-5:00pm
Overview
Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a refurbishment company in Chesterfield. This is a temporary to permanent position offering consistent, long-term work with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
Removing labels from products in preparation for shot blasting
Filling and conducting pressure testing on products
Painting and finishing refurbished items
Product quality checking, testing, and repackaging
Organising stock and preparing goods for dispatch
Loading and unloading materials (up to 15kg)
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
Requirements
Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment preferred
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Ability to handle manual work and lift up to 15kg
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Good organisational skills
