A well-established and highly regarded law firm based in Leeds city centre is seeking a professional and personable Receptionist / Office Administrator to join their team. This is a front-of-house role combining reception, administrative support, and occasional hospitality duties.
This position is initially temporary, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.
Working Hours & Pay
37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Shift pattern of 7.5 hours per day within core hours of 9:00am – 5:30pm
Flexibility required outside core hours for events, when necessary
Pay:
Temporary: £12.71 per hour + holiday pay (£14.24 total)
Permanent: Up to £26,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities

Acting as the first point of contact, delivering a professional and welcoming front-of-house experience

Answering calls, transferring enquiries, and taking accurate messages

Greeting clients and visitors in a courteous and helpful manner

Managing Outlook calendars and meeting room bookings

Providing administrative support across the office, including for Partners

Handling incoming and outgoing post, couriers, and deliveries

Managing filing, archiving, and document distribution

Coding and reconciling invoices

Supporting internal teams and assisting across departments as needed

Assisting with the organisation of in-house events alongside the marketing team

Ordering catering (breakfasts, lunches, dinners) when required

Monitoring and maintaining meeting rooms to a high standard

Ordering office supplies and conducting monthly stock checks

Setting up conference calls and supporting meeting logistics
