Goods In Operative - Permanent Role
Location: Chelmsford Area
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm
Prime Appointments are currently recruiting for a Goods In Operative to join a specialist manufacturing business based in the Chelmsford area. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position within a well-established and quality-driven company.
Please note: Due to the location, candidates must have their own transport and a full UK driving licence.
The Role
Working as part of a busy goods-in and quality control team, you will play a key role in ensuring all incoming and manufactured products meet strict quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities of the Goods In Operative
Inspect and check all incoming goods from couriers, suppliers, and internal production
Ensure all products meet required quality standards
Organise, store, and retrieve stock efficiently within the warehouse
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Complete and maintain accurate documentation, including delivery notesWhat We're Looking For
Full UK driving licence and own transport
Good level of physical fitness
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Good communication skills
Experience within Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain
