Our public sector client are looking for a Landscape Operative to join them on a temporary basis.
Hours: Monday–Friday, 37 hours per week
Requirements:

Experience in landscaping, construction sites, or plant operation required

Full driving licence preferred (not essential)

Any relevant construction experience considered
Role Purpose:
To carry out landscaping, grounds maintenance, and construction work to a high standard, supporting the development and upkeep of parks, green spaces, and outdoor facilities.
Key Responsibilities:

Complete landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks to required standards and timescales

Undertake hard and soft landscaping projects in line with drawings and specifications

Construct, develop, and maintain outdoor sports areas (natural and artificial surfaces)

Assist with planting and maintenance of trees and shrubs across highways and open spaces

Support the safe application of chemicals in line with regulations

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, and relevant legislation

Deliver good customer service and promote positive use of parks and green spaces

Work within agreed timeframes and budgets
