Morgan Law is currently recruiting for an Assistant Director of Procurement for one of its London based public sector clients. Who require experienced procurement professional to drive strategic change and delivering best value.
Job Role:
Develop and implement category management methodologies and developing ambitious commercial strategies.
Lead a team of category managers tasked with driving savings, revenue generation, and compliance with procurement processes.
Build strong working relationships senior stakeholders, including Finance Directors, Estates and Facilities Directors.
Provide strategic procurement expertise and contractual advice on framework agreements.
Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with the corporate vision and objectives.
Lead large-scale transformational change, cost reduction, and procurement programs.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, policies, and procurement legislation. Experience Required
MBA/Degree or equivalent qualification
Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent experience.
Extensive track record developing category strategies with a particular focus on Estates and Professional Services
Advanced supplier and contract negotiation experience.
Proven track record in delivering cost savings and leading complex procurement activities.
Knowledge of public procurement, and commercial practices
