The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Court of Protection Paralegal to join a highly regarded, specialist Private Client team in Birmingham.
This is a firm that places real emphasis on quality of work and client care, advising individuals and families on complex and often sensitive matters. Their Court of Protection team is a core part of the business and continues to grow, creating the need for an additional hire.
You’ll work closely with experienced lawyers on a broad range of deputyship matters, gaining exposure to high-quality work while playing a genuinely meaningful role in supporting vulnerable clients.
The Role
You’ll be involved in a varied caseload, supporting across:
Deputyship applications (Property & Financial Affairs and Health & Welfare)
Ongoing management of deputyship files
Liaising with clients, families and third parties
Preparing documentation for the Court of Protection
Financial administration, reporting and budgeting
Liaison with the Office of the Public Guardian
General support to fee earners on active matters
About You
This role would suit a paralegal with experience in Court of Protection or a related Private Client area, who is looking to develop their career in a supportive, specialist environment.
You’ll bring:
Previous experience in Court of Protection, Private Client or similar
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Confidence dealing with clients and third parties
