The Role
A high-volume payroll position supporting weekly payroll operations within a large organisation.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance and supporting payroll queries.
Key Responsibilities

Process starters, leavers, and payroll changes

Support weekly payroll processing for a large workforce

Calculate statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP, pensions)

Issue P45s, P60s, and manage RTI submissions
-
Reconcile payroll and wages accounts
-
Handle payroll queries and liaise with HMRC
-
Prepare auto-enrolment reports and pension uploads
-
Maintain accurate records and support audit requirements
The Ideal Candidate
-
Previous experience in a high-volume payroll environment
-
Good knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory processes

Strong Excel and administrative skills
-
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
-
Proactive, organised, and able to work under pressure
