📍 Hemel Hempstead (Hybrid – 2 days WFH)
💰 £30,000–£35,000
Contract: Permanent (flexible hours considered)
The Role
A client-facing payroll role within a growing business, managing multiple client payrolls and delivering a high level of service.
You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of payroll clients, ensuring accurate processing, compliance, and strong day-to-day relationships.
Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end payroll for a portfolio of clients

Process starters, leavers, and payroll changes

Calculate statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.)

Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation

Handle client queries and provide payroll support

Ensure compliance with HMRC and payroll legislation

Support year-end processes and reporting
-
Contribute to process improvements and team support
The Ideal Candidate
-
Experience in client or bureau payroll (preferred)
-
Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation
-
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
-
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
-
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
-
Positive, outgoing personality and strong team fit

Experience with payroll systems (Paycircle desirable)
