ALF are proud to be working with a growing company out the outskirts of Bolton, who are looking for a motivated and detailed-oriented Finance / Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their accounting skills while gaining exposure to a major ERP implementation. You’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function during an exciting period of change, where no 2 days at the same.
Fully office based role, 37.5 hours a week with some flexibility on hours worked.

Role:
Working closely with Finance Managers and alongside a team of 5 Finance Assistants, you will support the finance department with the accurate and timely processing of Financial Data.

Process high volume of Supplier Invoices with accuracy and correct coding

Match Invoices to Purchase Orders and GRNs

Assist with Processing GRNs through Internal Systems

Investigate and resolve discrepancies

Support Credit Control Activities when required

Support Month-End Processes

Other Finance Duties where required
Profile:
-
Experience within a transactional role ideally Purchase Ledger or Accounts Assistant

AAT Desirable but not essential
-
Must be confident and versatile to help across different finance tasks daily

IT literate is a must – Excel, ERP Systems and COINS would be beneficial
-
High attention to detail and accuracy
