About the Role
We are looking for a proactive Facilities Assistant to support the Facilities Manager and ensure the smooth running of our Client's facilities and front‑of‑house operations. You'll work closely with both the facilities and hospitality teams to deliver a high standard of service across the organisation.
Working Pattern
Days: Monday, Tuesday & Friday
Shifts: Early (07:30-15:00) and Late (11:00-18:30), on rotation
Flexibility required for occasional rota changes
Uniform providedKey Responsibilities
Prepare coffee machines for daily staff use
Maintain stationery supplies
Set up rooms for meetings and events
Book couriers and manage printing/binding requests
Liaise with contractors and building management
Raise work permits via the building portal
Manage staff and visitor access passes
Distribute mail
Conduct health & safety tours for new starters
Support hospitality and reception when needed
Carry out other reasonable duties as requiredSkills & Competencies
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Highly organised and reliable
Good communicator
Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel
Flexible and willing to work occasional overtime (paid)Experience & Qualifications
Previous facilities or hospitality experience (corporate setting preferred)
Fire warden, first aid, or manual handling training is beneficial (training can be provided)
