Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Refuse Driver to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced driver who is comfortable with early starts, physical work, and working as part of a crew to deliver essential waste and recycling services.
Key Responsibilities

Operate Class 2 refuse collection vehicles safely and efficiently

Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance

Work alongside loaders to complete refuse and recycling collections

Follow planned routes and collection schedules

Adhere to all health & safety procedures and road traffic regulations

Report vehicle defects, missed collections, or incidents promptly

Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with members of the public
Requirements

Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence

Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

Previous experience in refuse or waste collection is preferred

Good understanding of health & safety and safe manual handling

Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions

Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
