Job Description:
We’re working with a well-established manufacturing business based in Appley Bridge who are looking to recruit a General Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and supportive finance team.
You’ll be working closely with two experienced accounts professionals, gaining exposure across multiple areas of finance — this is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a well-rounded accounts career.
Key Responsibilities

Assisting with Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger

Supporting the Credit Control function

Helping with general accounts administration

Processing invoices, reconciliations and data entry

Providing wider admin support across the office when required

Occasionally assisting in the on-site retail/store area (team approach – everyone chips in)
What We’re Looking For

Some experience within an accounts or finance environment
-
AAT Level 2 (or working towards) preferred but not essential
-
A positive, can-do attitude — no “that’s not my job” mentality

Someone who is flexible, reliable and happy to support across the business

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Available to start quickly
