Finance Assistant | Chelmsford | Full or part time.
We’re working with a well-established international business based in Chelmsford who are looking to bring an experienced Finance Assistant into their team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied finance role, with a strong focus on credit control but also the chance to get involved across the wider finance function.
The role:
You’ll play a key part in supporting the day-to-day running of the finance team, with responsibilities including:

Managing the credit control process, chasing outstanding payments and maintaining strong client relationships

Working with SAP to process and maintain accurate financial records

Supporting with expenses and payroll administration

Assisting across purchase and sales ledger as required

General finance support to ensure smooth running of the department
What they’re looking for:

Previous experience in a Finance Assistant role

Strong credit control experience (this is key)

Experience using SAP or similar finance systems but not a necessity

Good attention to detail and a proactive approach

Someone reliable, organised, and happy to get stuck in where needed
