Assistant Accountant / Management Accountant - Hybrid Working
Jacob Grey have partnered with a successful Marlow based professional services organisation, and is seeking an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join the team. Alongside a credible and personable Head of Finance, this will be a great opportunity to take ownership of month end accounts and play a broader role in the financial direction of this successful and growing business:
Monthly Accounts:

Draft full set of Monthly Management Accounts with supporting schedules

Produce reports to calculate and review Departmental Profitability

Complete balance sheet reconciliations

Prepare Month End journals, accruals and prepayments

Conduct monthly variance analysis in comparison to budget

Take full ownership of all nominal postings and maintain the Fixed Asset Register

Produce detailed information to support budgeting and forecasting
Year End
The ideal candidate will be an active studier (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or a recently completed AAT4 seeking the next phase of study. Experience with month end processes as well as a good understanding of how to complete management accounts is expected, though training to take full month end ownership will be given Experience in a professional services environment will be considered an advantage, though not essential, as will interest in using financial software to add value to financial and commercial information.
