We're a rapidly expanding organisation based just outside of Birmingham city centre and we're looking for a sharp, energetic Finance Assistant to join this thriving finance team. If you love working with numbers, enjoy variety, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment, this role could be for you!
Your responsibilities:
You'll play a key role in keeping the financial operations running smoothly:
Processing and inputting supplier invoices into Sage
Reconciling purchase orders and supplier documents
Preparing and processing supplier payments
Reconciling income batches and online platform transactions
Supporting daily financial reporting
Assisting with internal asset and stock processes
Helping with month‑end deadlines and reports
Contributing to audit preparation and documentation What We're Looking For
You'll need to be someone who's organised, adaptable, and always ready to tackle the next challenge. You should bring:
A strong work ethic and self‑motivation
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
Accuracy and attention to detail under pressure
Clear communication skills
Solid Excel skills (Sage experience is a plus!)
Previous experience in a similar finance role Full role‑specific training will be provided during a three‑month onboarding period. References and a DBS check will be required. The role is based on-site (Monday - Friday).
