Assembly Operative – LED / Lighting Manufacturing (Ashton‑Under‑Lyne)

Day shift, Monday to Friday Hours
Join a well‑established LED and lighting manufacturing business in our largest department, where we electrically assemble high‑quality light fittings. We’re recruiting Assembly Operatives / Electrical Assemblers / Production Operatives to support increasing demand across the Assembly team.
The Role
-
Electrical assembly and wiring of lighting products
-
Reading and working from electrical drawings and build instructions
-
Using hand tools and basic electrical assembly equipment

Conducting product testing and quality checks

Maintaining excellent Health & Safety, housekeeping and 6S standards

Working efficiently to meet daily production targets
What We’re Looking For

Experience in electrical assembly, production, manufacturing, or similar environments

Ability to read basic electrical drawings (or willingness to learn)

Good attention to detail and quality standards

IT literate, with good communication and teamwork skills
Desirable: Experience in lighting assembly, electronics, wiring, or testing.
