Teaching Personnel is proud to be partnering with a forward‑thinking local college offering life‑skills and specialist education across three Bristol campuses. Due to continued growth, we are recruiting SEND Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join their expanding support teams.
⭐ About the SEND Learning Support Assistant Role
As a SEND Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in helping learners with a range of additional needs thrive both in the classroom and in practical life‑skills environments. Your role will involve:
Supporting students with SEND on a 1:1 and small‑group basis
Assisting teaching staff to deliver personalised learning plans
Encouraging independence, confidence, and emotional resilience
Providing calm, patient support to students with autism, learning difficulties, physical disabilities or social‑emotional needs
Working collaboratively with tutors and inclusion specialists

Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from individuals with experience in:
Care or residential support
Education, teaching support or school‑based work
Youth work or mentoring
Social care or community support roles
However, previous experience isn’t essential. If you are compassionate, patient, resilient and passionate about supporting young people with SEND, we want to hear from you.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
