Manufacturing Operative
Location: Springtown
Our client, a recognised leader in their sector, is hiring Manufacturing Specialists to join their team immediately. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a state-of-the-art wafer fabrication facility, producing recording heads for data storage products.
What you'll be doing:
- Operating a variety of machines in a high-tech production environment
- Tending machines to maximise efficiency and support production targets
- Working within a small shift team of 3-4 colleagues, part of a larger team of 30-40
- Supporting maintenance activities across a 12-hour rotating shift pattern, including days, nights, and weekends
- Following strict health & safety regulations and wearing PPE at all times
- Meeting performance and quality standards
- Contributing to team goals and collaborative success
- Identifying and resolving issues in the production process
- Assisting with process improvements and documentation
- Maintaining cleanroom standards and wafer-handling protocols
- Using tools and equipment effectively and completing training as required
