Location: Tetbury (Hybrid – 4 days per week in office, 1 day WFH following successful training)

Job Description
We are delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Administrator on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing environmental consultancy based in Tetbury. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the business, ensuring smooth processes and contributing to the wider team’s success.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounts Support:

Manage day-to-day accounts processing, including invoices and supplier payments

Support banking processes and assist with credit control activities

Liaise with clients regarding outstanding payments
-
Work closely with the Financial Controller to support monthly financial cycles

Assist with monthly environmental reporting
Administrative Support:
-
Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems
-
Handle incoming correspondence, emails, and general enquiries
-
Coordinate schedules, meeting rooms, and travel arrangements
-
Maintain supplier records, portals, and internal logs
Health, Safety & Compliance:
-
Maintain up-to-date records including risk assessments and H&S documentation
-
Support compliance checks and ensure procedures are followed

Train as Fire Marshal, including organising drills and tracking incidents
Key Skills
Essential:
-
Previous experience in an administrative or accounts support role
-
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
-
Confident communicator, both written and verbal
-
Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, SharePoint)

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and as part of a team
Desirable:

Bookkeeping or purchase ledger experience
-
Experience within a consultancy or professional services environment

Familiarity with CRM or project management systems

Interest in sustainability, environmental services, or ecology
